W3. What is globalization? _ Wonil Joo

1. Can we define globalization?

<What is globalization?> explains various aspects of globalization. These descriptions can be roughly divided into two types. First of all, globalization is like a structure. It is globalization that is produced not individually but in various relationships. So each government can no longer exist alone arbitrarily. A country's policy affects various countries. And the impact will be variously influenced political, economical and cultural perspective.

Second, globalization is still ongoing. Globalization is a common concept in various fields. However, there is no complete globalization. Globalization is still under way in each area. Sometimes we welcome and object to globalization. In a variety of contexts, globalization is changing.

Therefore, it is not easy to define the concept of globalization perfectly. We have to discuss and redefine the concept of globalization.

2. The contradiction of globalization

The Berlin Wall was a symbol of ideological warfare. But the Berlin Wall eventually collapsed. At the same time, communism fell. Capitalism became a common social ideology, and globalization began. I was fresh in this part. I thought that globalization symbolizes the coexistence of various cultures. However, the beginning of globalization comes from the unification of ideologies. So we have doubts about whether we can put globalization together with the concept of culture coexistence.

3. Our attitude toward globalization

I would like to discuss the future of globalization. Globalization began in the fall of communism. And the world is now disgusted with multicultural policies. The American people chose Donald Trump, not Hillary Clinton. And the progressive regime in France lost confidence. Could the future of globalization be peaceful? I would like to have time for various discussions in this regard.
