W3. What is Globalization?

1. Summary
Many books and articles purporting to be talking about globalization
but there is no accepted definition of globalization. Many different topics are included under the rubric of globalization, such as global governance, global citizenship, human rights, migration and the creation of diasporas, transnational
connections of various kinds and so on. In these, we should know that in a major respect globalization is, in the frequently used phrase, an essentially contested concept.
Having a perspective and a horizon, Velho that it may be understood as
the direction in which the world considered as a whole is moving.
Globalization can be recognized quite simply these ways, two, initially very separate but now converging, uses of the term. Also it has increasing connectivity. and there are three major dimensions of such: the economic, the political and the cultural like McDonalization.
Processes of individualization is a major point of globalization, In this docs said that a series of ego identity and we pay attention to the components of the human race.
We (live in the age of globalization.) should characterize globalization. Like in these docs. First, globalization should consist primarily of two major directional tendencies, increasing global connectivity and increasing global consciousness. Second, Globalization should take a special form for every shape and purpose. Third, globalization should consist of cultural, social, political and economic aspects.

2. New interesting or unusual items I learned
Before I thought global warming was only limited to the problem of communication. However, my thoughts on reading this document have realized that globalization is a highly diversified issue of complexity. Although I am ignorant from political, economic and cultural perspectives, I think studying will be a little deeper in the future. What I'd like to know is that there are more interesting examples besides corporation.

3.Discussion point
When I see it, globalization seems to be a double edged sword. It makes our lives a little richer and more convenient, but somehow it seems to be an important problem that we don't see as a shadow of a shadow. Therefore, we will have to look for ways to coordinate both sides well.
