1. Summary
Globalization has both characteristics of being general and concrete. Globalization is seen as general because it can be found in all parts of the world. In addition, we can see globalization in detail because it has unique characteristics in the process of globalization. Because of globalization’s characteristics, scholars defied differently globalization. There are also different views on globalization. For example, in the developing and the less developed countries, the concept of globalization made in advanced countries is not considered as a concept that dominates them. Therefore, many scholars explain that globalization is not a single process but a complex process.
The scholar Velho sees globalization as a point of view. Viewing from a single point indicates that there is subjectivity. It is also difficult to see as a single process because the viewpoints of the world are different and complex. This is becoming the most important goal of world education. Finally, globalization can be seen as the direction in which the world moves. In fact, research on globalization is ongoing. Until the early 1990s, the discipline of globalization was not fully realized, but it is now widely used. For example, the WTO, the IMF are. It can be said that the beginning of globalization started from the economic part. As markets open and trade freely, multinational companies have penetrated other markets. As a result, many people have looked at globalization from an economic perspective. In fact, there were more views in previous studies. Of course, many people still see globalization in sociology and political science. In other words, globalization can be seen not only from an economic point of view but also from various points of view.
Many scholars see globalization in economic, political, and cultural terms. Originally, the economic aspect was the most interested, but in recent years, many scholars are interested in the cultural aspect. McDonald's, Nike and other global companies are now focusing their brands on the local situation. This means a combination of economic and cultural aspects. There is also a social aspect. Communication is the greatest core of the social aspect. Particularly, the development of technology has made the diffusion of communication and has had a great impact on globalization. Through the Internet, long-distance communication and this have had a direct impact on globalization.
Attempts to characterize globalization have the following characteristics: The first is to increase the connectivity and awareness that allows the entire world to share. The second is globalization by the United Nations Organization. The watchmaking of the UN agency focuses on a number of criteria. World politics’s, individual’s, humanity’s globalization are made culturally, socially, politically, and economically. These various aspects are complexly connected and interpenetrating. Because of this complexity, it is inherently difficult to answer the question of what globalization is. However, for the definition of a clear concept of globalization, it is necessary to observe the changes of time and space appropriately and consider various situations fully. In particular, critical analysis and discussion, not unconditional acceptance of globalization, should be done in a sophisticated system. In recent years, the theory of globalization has been tolerated in spite of much research. However, for the development of genuine theories about globalization, critical and comprehensive analysis and discussion are needed.

2. New, interesting or unusual items I learned
The most interesting part of this article related to globalization is that globalization is going on in many ways. In fact, globalization is the most common view of economic aspects. It is also true that globalization is the most advanced and fastest in terms of economy. Many companies are now entering other countries for globalization. What these companies are most concerned about right now is glocalization. Currently, companies are establishing local corporations or directly entering other countries and localizing them. This glocalization tries to maximize the marketing effect. This aspect leads to cultural aspects. For glocalization, companies try to use famous actors from other countries, try marketing according to culture, and make various attempts. These various attempts can be regarded as one of the processes to achieve cultural globalization. The development of technology is also an interesting topic. In fact, the outbreak of the Internet is an indispensable topic in the socialization. Through the development of technology that connects people, we interacted with people who are far away, and proceeded to globalize in sharing people's thoughts. In addition, the culture of other countries is accessed through the Internet, making them interested in the culture of other countries and linking them with cultural globalization. The globalization and complexity of these many aspects are the most interesting.

3. Discussion point
I was curious when reading this article. That is, through cultural globalization, the world's culture will be integrated into one. In fact, it is almost impossible to integrate culture into one. However, the current mainstream culture is fixed. It is the American Hollywood culture. Most of the movie market is dominated by Hollywood in the United States, and the number of American songs in the YouTube view is one or two. This means that the current American culture is highly globalized. In other words, the Hollywood culture of the United States now dominates the culture of the whole world. Of course, Korea's Gangnam style and many other countries' cultures also show mainstream culture, but it is not as persistent as Hollywood culture. If so, I would like to ask if there is a possibility that the Hollywood culture might unite the world someday if it continues to be a mainstream culture. In fact, I think it is impossible because of glocalization and many other elements. So, is there no mainstream culture to replace Hollywood culture? I would like to ask what kind of culture would be mainstream culture.
