1.Summary

Globalization is generally common because it deals with the world of globalization found elsewhere in the world. Globalization is concrete because it is a boundary called globalization. Globalization is clear and systematic, but it is essentially a controversial concept. We try to provide coherence as long as we realize the nature of the conceptual argument. The part of the argument comes from global perspective differences. Since globalization starts in different contexts, there is a deviation in thinking about globalizaiton. So, scholars argue the plural globalization. Globalization begins in the late 1970s and early 1980s sociology, anthropology, and religion. But, in recent years, globalization has become increasingly clear, interest of globalization began for centuries ago. By the early 1990s, the concept of globalization was`t entirely academic. It was used for political discourse. It has been used since the Berlin Wall collapsed in 1989 and communism collapsed partially. In the western world in late 1990s, there was an anti-globalization movement that was certainly not exclusive. Globalization has emerged as an expression of inequality as globalization accelerated. This was emerged in the economic aspect. The realization that the capitalist globalization itself is part of the globalization process is strong. Unlike the economic approach of globalization debate in the previous, people who choose multi-dimensional methods have led to a wide range of intellectual resource. Since the early 1990s, policies promoted by affluent nations were developed by accepting the open markets, free trade, deregulation and privatization. Generally, under the protection of policies that lead to neo-liberalism, transnational corporations have significant mean in the global economy. This has actually become a symbolic flaw that people think globalization.
In the context of the globalization theory, Robertson insists that the world has become a single place. This argument has had a ripple effect on the development of social science. It has greatly impacted the field of sociology, politics, and anthropology as well as economics. When considering a single unity(A single place), the increasing consciousness of globalization is proceeding in a complex manner as inter-connections increase. People considered not only global consciousness but also inter-connections as a policy and ideology for economic materialism.
Meanwhile, globalization has three dimensions of economics, politics and culture. Due to interest about the globalization of economic, cultural globalization is becoming increasingly important. That is George Litcher`s McDonaldization. Even if we`re promoting heterogeneity of locals, the practices of the project is largely similar to the one around the world. In conclusion, the main aspects of globalization are defined as cultural, social, political, economic.
We point out that globalization changes the world into a single place. But, some people discuss the globalized world. However, there are no standards for formation of globalized world. In other words, the globalized world is impossible. Through the concept of globalization, if we approach this problem, we can know that globalization is an inevitable, self-limited process.
In conclusion, First, globalization consists primarily of two major directional tendencies, increasing global connectivity and increasing global consciousness. Consciousness does not imply consensus, merely a shared sense of the world as a whole. Second, globalization consists a special form had purpose. This means that, like the operations of the UN, globalization is focused upon four points of reference(nation-states; world politics; individuals; and humankind.). Third, globalization is constituted by four major aspects of the cultural, the social, the political and the economic. economic. These dimensions are in reality heavily interconnected, one or two aspects being more prominent at any given time or place. For example, in the modern world the cultural and the economic are closely interconnected. We also accentuated that it is important not to specify globalization. When considering analysis of discourse about globalization, the concept about globalization is important. That is, globalization can`t be defined itself.

2. New, interesting or unusual items I learned

I thought that globalization was a concept that was already defined. But, in reality, there has been a wide range of discourse on globalization, and scholars or people are still debating it. Also, I thought globalization was purposeful, but not in form. However, I found out that organizations like UN have a global form. First of all, when I thought globalization, I only thought about the transnational nation or corporations. After I learned the globalization, I am surprised that this is a symbolic flaw in globalization that many people consider. We can observe a visible view of their activities, and there is a possibility that it will soon be mistaken for globalization. For example, we have experienced a transformation from communism to democracy in 1990s. Then transnational corporations came into the country. Their social and economic marketing activities provide a belief that a nation has become globalized. That is many people consider visible changes to globalization. But, these changes have no definite answers. However, what we need to know is that we should not define as visual and materialistic aspects about globalization. In conclusion, I think that is, globalization can`t be defined itself.

3. Discussion point

Q1. The advantage of globalization is that it becomes an open market and the economy develops. Another advantage is that people can achieve balanced growth by exchanging human, material resources. However, Why is the economic gap between the rich and the poor widening today? Rather, Isn`t a strong country with political and economic powers forced to expand(open) the market by using a mechanism of globalization?
