Q1. What are some of the major issues in world politics right now?

  I think that the nuclear issues of North Korea are the biggest issues. Recently, North Korea conducted a missile test. The missile tests were conducted over Japan, and It`s an experiment that reaches into the United States and territories. So, the international community is extremely tense. The international community urgently held the Security Council(UN). The Security Council made a resolution on the issue of North Korea`s nuclear weapons program. And the Security Council is enforcing sanctions through the media. The South Korean president Moon Jae-in issued a statement for North Korea`s nuclear weapons and military provocations in the UN. He is trying to solve this problem.
Today, leaving North Korea away from the the Nuclear NonProliferation Treaty(NPT) has caused many problems.
  First, the issue of nuclear provocation in ceasefire country has a huge impact on the economy as well as politics. For example, investors subtract investments. Also, this problem can undermine investor sentiment. The problem also affects the frequency of travel among tourists traveling around the country. Finally, regional economy of South Korea may suffer greatly.
 Second, these problems lead to a decrease in the consuming practice of people. Due to the nuclear provocation, the public is anxious. Eventually, people become more anxious because they don`t intend to spend money or consuming practice.
 Finally, New Cold War or World War 3 may be coming true. In the worst War, major countries such as Russia, China, and the US are actively involved in the nuclear issue. If that happens, a country`s sovereignty may be violated. So, in the context, the world can be influenced by the logic of the superpowers.

Q2. What other local adaptations of global culture can we think of?

1. If we visit Insa-dong street in Korea, we can easily find it. If we look around, we can easily see that Starbucks, Beskin Robbins, Cafebene`s sign are written in Hangeul. Also, in terms of space design, we can check the local adaptations of global culture. Rather than imitating the shops in Western societies, Korean modeled a new type of store based on their native houses(Roof tile) in Korea. This can be considered as a local adaptations of global culture that combines existing and new ones.

2. the example of local adaptations of global culture is a coin Karaoke in Korea. Koreans modeled their own coin Karaoke instead of Japanese Karaoke rooms. It is a space that is acceptable to one or three(1~3) persons. The way of using it is easily to put coins or paper bills into the machine. The price of a coin Karaoke is usually three songs per thousand won. The advantages and charm of a coin Karaoke are as follows.
  First, traditional Karaoke takes a lot of time and money. On the other hands, coin Karaoke takes less time and money. Currently, it is installed in many local. So, we can visit anytime and anywhere.
  Second, although modern people do not feel comfortable with stress, a coin karaoke gives us a chance to relieve stress. In their own space, people sing and relieve their stress. We can practice singing as well.
  Finally, A coin Karaoke is a good business item. Currently, minimum wages of Korea have continued to rise and labor costs have risen significantly. However, a coin karaoke is less expensive because it requires minimal staff. So, a coin Karaoke does not have to worry about labor costs. In conclusion, there is a high possibility of making a lot of money.
