Q. What are some of the major issues in world politics right now?
Refugees in the Middle East drive to Europe. Germany decided to accept refugees, but many countries refused to accept refugees. There has been a lot of discussion about whether it is right to accommodate refugees.
A long civil war forced the Syrian people to flourish into neighboring countries. However, soon after the Syrian refugees grew to an unacceptable level in neighboring countries, refugees crossed the Mediterranean and headed to Europe. This massive refugee was the first since the Second World War, so many European countries were embarrassed. Most members of the European Union, except Germany and some countries, opposed refugee acceptance.
The reasons for their opposition are mainly the proliferation of Islam, the rapid increase in fertility rates, and the collapse of the crime and social system. According to the attached video, the problem will not arise if European nations accept Syrian refugees altogether. However, the threat of terrorism in various parts of Europe, including the Paris terror in 2015, makes the understanding of the passive attitudes of many European countries to refugee acceptance. This issue has been steadily continuing since 2015, and it is an issue that is shaking up European society.
